How every guide earns trust.

Our editorial process is designed to make household guidance clearer, safer and more honest about its limits.

Core rule

Cause before product.

We begin with what the reader notices, map plausible systems and recommend the lowest-risk useful action. We do not build articles around a product merely because it can be monetized.

01 — Research

Search intent meets source quality.

Topics are selected from real problem language, site performance signals and gaps in the existing information architecture. For safety, health, moisture, chemicals, appliances and food topics, we prioritize official agencies, manufacturer instructions and primary references.

02 — Writing

Specific actions, visible limits.

  • One clear quick answer above the fold.
  • Symptom → likely cause → safest next action.
  • Practical examples, mistakes and stopping points.
  • No fabricated first-hand testing, qualifications, reviews or results.
  • No invented nutrition, safety or performance claims.

03 — Review & updates

Dates mean a real check occurred.

A reviewed date changes only when the page has been checked for accuracy, clarity, links, safety boundaries or substantial content. High-risk guidance is revisited when authoritative recommendations change.

04 — Corrections

Useful corrections stay visible.

Readers may report an error, outdated source, unclear instruction or accessibility problem through the contact page. Material corrections are prioritized; we do not promise that every suggestion will be adopted.
