How this calculator works
Estimate grout volume using tile dimensions, joint width and tile thickness. Because grout density and coverage vary by product, the result is shown as approximate volume and should be checked against the manufacturer chart.
Approximate joint volume is derived from joint width × depth × total joint length per tiled area, then increased by waste.
Example
Narrow joints around large-format tile use far less grout than wide joints around small mosaic tile.
Reliability check
Treat the liter result as joint geometry only. Convert it to bags or tubs with the selected manufacturer’s coverage chart because grout density, formulation, tile profile and application loss differ.
